Trainer / Assessor Vacancy

Who are We?

Further Training is an established and expanding training provider based in the West Midlands, delivering both government funded and commercial training programmes. With over twenty years of experience, Further Training is one of the largest Institute of Management (ILM) Centres and works with both large national employers as well as small local businesses.


What We Need!

We are experiencing unprecedented demand for our programmes, and as a result we are seeking an enthusiastic assessor/tutor to join our existing team.


The successful applicant will be a qualified and experienced Trainer/Assessor with a proven track record of delivery apprenticeships and commercial QCF awards/certificates and diplomas across the following qualifications:


  • ILM-ALL Levels including Apprenticeship Frameworks/ Standards up to Level 7
  • Administration and Customer Service at Level 2 & 3
  • Design and Delivery of group and one to one learning sessions using a range of teaching resources and methods.

A knowledge of the Apprentice Reforms and an understanding of 'standards” would be advantageous.


You will be responsible for a caseload of approximately 50 candidates across the range of qualifications.  Your prime role will be to support candidates throughout the learner journey, ensuring their timely achievement and successful progression.


Ideally you will already be familiar with Skills Funding Agency (SFA) funding rules and have experience of completing relevant funding documentation. You will also have responsibility for completing awarding organisation records covering the assessment strategies for the listed qualifications. 


What You Need!

Applicants should hold the following:


D32/33/A1 or TAQA Level 3 Assessor Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. 


If you currently hold D32/33 or A1, we will upskill you to the TAQA standard.  A teaching qualification would be desirable or alternatively be willing to work towards.
