The role of a business administrator usually includes the following:

·        Having a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors.

·        Work independently or as part of a team.

·        Involves developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administration services.

·        Support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers.

·        Contribute to the efficiency of the organisation by working across teams resolving issues as requested.

·        Have strong communication skills and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills.

·        Show initiative, manage priorities and own time, problem-solving and decision-making skills and develop the potential for management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others.
